Avoid a Bouncing Power Ball in Orange Box's Portal

JOHN SEXTON: Hi. I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. Now here's a powerball that's bouncing back and forth that's going to kill us if we don't do something with it. We can just make an entrance there and an exit above. There I go. And the powerball got out of our way without causing any trouble, so that's good. We're still following this elevator. Hopefully, it's going to take us to the cake that we were promised. Now this part we've got to shoot a portal there and there very quickly and essentially ride the elevator and jump back on to it from around that cart that was blocking us. Well there's a picture of the cake. But here's a pit of fire, and that doesn't look like cake to me. And so unless we want to go down in flames here at the end of test chamber 19, we're going to have to get crafty about how we get out of here. Turns out the artificial intelligence program that's been talking to us doesn't have the best of intentions and the people who were writing the cake was a lie turned out to be right.
