Destroying the AI Machine & Eating Cake in Orange Box's Portal

JOHN SEXTON: Hi. I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So, this is kind of a difficult one. As it is frozen in midair, we've got to find a way to jump out from the wall and pick this thing up in midair. But we're practiced enough at portal techniques now that we should be able to do that. So we can jump out and grab it, land on top of it will also work, you can knock it out of the air. You can pick it up. We've still got 2-1/2 minutes almost to go. We can put this in the incinerator just like we've done with all the rest. The AI's not very happy with us; it's insulting me right now by telling me that I'm not a scientist. I definitely do not appreciate that, so we'll show it exactly what kind of scientist we are. We've put the last piece into the incinerator and the hoses are falling, and looks like we finally got the best of this sassy, inconsiderate AI construct that's been putting us through all this trouble. And that's Portal, that's all you have to do. So, sit back and enjoy the ending. There's a nice little cinema scene here at the end and I highly recommend that you stay for the credits as there's an entertaining song that awaits you. And if you stay through all the credits, you may find that you do, in fact, get your cake.
