Use the AI Against Itself in Orange Box's Portal

JOHN SEXTON: Hi. I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So, we're going to want to use this thing against itself and we're going to try to place a portal here below the AI monster computer, then we will use the missiles that this thing shoots at us, into a portal, put them in there, and it'll come up under the AI and it'll knock off more pieces like the first one. Now, this one got hit and it flew on top of this pipe. So we can make a portal there and make one in the floor and just come up and pick up the piece, and bring it down to the incinerator, and repeat that we had done a moment ago. Now, again, speed is important here because you only have 6 minutes to accomplish the whole thing. So, using portals for little shortcuts like to save time and it's very important. And once you disposed of that, the turret comes back, so we'll use the missile trick again to have an aim at us and launch the missile, have it hit the computer and we can see that the second piece rolled up here onto a platform that's above it.
