Destroying Turrets in Orange Box's Portal

JOHN SEXTON: Hi. I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So, from this area, we can see that we angle our portal into a couple of other rooms around. So we'll put a portal there and one here, come in and get this turret. We'll just drop it off with its buddy there and continue this process by just shooting portals into rooms that are across from us, and eventually eliminating all of the turrets in the room. There's one up here. Now, you'll notice that room has an angled platform above it. We're going to need to use that for a momentum jump in a minute. Pick this guy up and drop him off. There's another turret over there. Pick this one up and get rid of that, just a couple more to get now. Put a portal back there and that one. You may not have to get rid of all of these turrets, but the momentum jump that we're going to have to make is a difficult one and if we don't get rid of all the turrets and miss the jump, there's a good chance that they will kill you while you're trying to get set up again.
