More on Playing "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden

JOE WILES: Hi, this is Joe with the Rock & Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. We're going to look at part two of Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills." The next two riffs are basically the same thing. Our index, err, I'm sorry, our ring finger's on the 11th fret of the B string, and our index finger's on the--looks like the 8th fret of the high E string. We're going to slide this up two. So far what we have is this. And the last two riffs, we're going to come down to the G and B string, doing the same idea, just on two different strings. Our ring finger's going to be on the 10th fret of the G string, and our index finger is going to be on the 8th fret of the B string. We're going to slide up two frets, to 12 and 10, okay? Again, slowly and out of tempo context. That riff sounds like this, okay? Okay. In context to speed, that riff sounds like this. In our next segment, we're going to talk about Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" and I hope to see you there.
