How to Use Animals in Clown Routines

On behalf of Expert Village my name is Paul Anderson from the ABC Circus here in Hollywood, Florida and we're going to do how to be a clown. Working with animals, ha, that's a cute thing. Everybody loves a cute little squirrel. Oh, that's not a squirrel, that's a chipmunk, do you see him? He's coming up. Ouch, he bit me! No, he's just a little puppet. But you'd be surprised how many people think this silly little thing is real. And if you act like he bit you, that's drawing that line, where do you go? Now this one is a wild one. I have to be careful with this. Whoa whoa, easy easy, whoa whoa, easy it's Gordy! Gordy! Easy, it's a little groundhog. Everybody loves a groundhog. Don't bite me now Gory. Gordy, easy easy easy. Yeah, everybody loves a cute little animal. You'd be surprised at what could get away with. Of course this is just a little puppet and they make a great substitute for real animals and remember if you have a real animal, like a bird, a dove, a rabbit or a dog you have to take care of them. And there is a lot of things in caring for an animal so be careful what you choose.
