Orange Box's Portal Walkthrough for Test Chamber 6-1

Hi, I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software. A company with which I have no affiliation. Now, how are we going to get to this one up here. The orange portal is there and we can't move it, but the block we want to get to is up here. This is the first time that we're going to have to use the portal gun in sequence to get to where we want to go. I'll go ahead and put the blue portal right here and we can see that we're looking through the blue portal out of the orange one to see the block. That's allowed me to get up here onto this platform where I was before but the problem is we need to get across. Well, it's easy to move the blue portal again if you just shoot it across and then you walk into the orange and you come out the blue. Both the orange and the blue portal are two way doors that allow you to get where you need to go. Getting through Portal takes a little bit of creative thinking, but the solutions are always obvious enough once you've realized what needs to be done. Now, it seemed like I was going to be able to get through and head to the next test chamber, but they've actually put me into a glass roofed room. So what I need to do to get out of here, I can see there's an orange exit portal up there. I can just put the blue entrance portal any where I want and I'll actually fall from the ceiling onto that glass and I can move on to the next test chamber.
