Hi. Shelley Cordsen here with Expert Village, working on our personality placemats. So to start my vinyl I will start on the long end. Do it from the vinyl side up is your binding. And I will leave a small tail probably a good eight inches to start with. And then I'm going to start sewing. Now I'm going to have to take a clip so I can get it anchored there. I will sew a quarter inch on down to the corner. And then I'll show you how to miter your corner. I'm going to sew down to the edge. We are going to stop one quarter of an inch before you get to the edge. And you're going to take a couple of back stitches. Pull it out from your machine. Then you're going to pull this fabric up to make that triangle and then you're going to pull it back down and line it up along your edge here. So you're going to have a mitered corner like this. So make sure you have that little triangle tail there. Then you're going to put your needle right in where you stopped sewing a quarter inch in this way and down from the top. And you can kind of feel it with your fingers. You can kind of eyeball where your stitching was and then go down to the next corner.
