Hi! I am Ross on behalf of expertvillage.com, windows Internet Explorer, let us check it out. What is content advisor and how to you use it. Content advisor allows you to block web sites with content you do not want. Now it is not a 100% like any means, but you can help stop certain content that you do not want to view most of the time. Internet explorer has a built-in by going to tools, down to Internet options and then the content tab, left click it. The first thing you see is content advisor. Ratings help you control the Internet content that can be viewed on this computer, enable. Now here are the ratings. For instance, language and you have a slider. Inoffensive slang is the only thing that can get through in this case. Now when I say it can get through that is it, if it is rated. You can slide it, you can slide all the way up and let anything come through, then you have all these different categories for that. You have approved sites. Approved means that you have actually set it up to allow it or disallow it and you can actually put web sites here for that. You can password protect the content advisor so only you can get in to change these settings.
