JOE WILES: We're looking at number 9 on our countdown. It's Nirvana's "Come As You Are." Let's take a look. Now this is a great signature riff and it's really easy to play. You start out on your low E string. You're going to hit it twice, then put your index finger on the 1st fret and then middle finger on the 2nd fret. Okay? Then the open A string back to the E string, keeping your finger on the 2nd fret. Hit that twice. Hit that 2nd fret note again on the low E string, 1st fret open, then go to the 2nd fret of the A string, then hit the open E string twice, then hit the 2nd fret of the A string, then repeat. Slowly, that riff sounds like this. Join us in our next segment, we're going to take a look at number 8 on the countdown, which is "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. See you there.
