Adding Toppings to Homemade Breakfast in Bed Waffles
This waffle is cooled just enough that I can make it nice and uniform around the edges. Not so much, however that it's cold, cold waffles, that wouldn't be a very happy birthday, now would it? And I'm actually gonna stack two on top of each other. But instead of, you know you go to these pancake or waffle places and there's whipped cream and a bunch of sort of, the fruit that they spoon on top of it, it's in this heavy syrup. This is just some frozen black raspberries. That's right, they're not blackberries, raspberries, they're black raspberries. They're not as bitter, sour as blackberries. And then the juice and the moisture of the yogurt will just seep into that honey bran waffle. And then we're going to invert the order for the top. You, of course, could sandwich whatever fruit you like in the middle of it. You could put some bananas, you could put some blueberries, strawberries, of course. So the juice is just gonna run down the sides. And to make it look like there's a dollop of whipped cream on top, let the yogurt seep on top of that. So ooze away. Try and get it to ooze evenly if you can but it's not always possible. Then we're gonna garnish with a little, instead of powdered sugar, an alternate, some healthy almonds. And there you go. Doesn't that look like an appetizing waffle? That is ready to go to the breakfast tray.
