Opening Up the Origami Water Lily

Now it is time to open it up and lay it flat. How we are going to do this we are just going to grab this guy here and pull him open and most of this is going to kind of open on its own as you can see. Open it like that. What we want to do is keep these triangle bases at our top cause these are going to be our main supports here. As we bring it down we are just going to form them all into a motion kind of clockwise or clockwise as you can see right here. Oops this is off just a little bit. Let me adjust that right now before we get to far into this. There that is how we want it to look. It is a little off but we would just deal with it right now. Then what we are going to do is just press the middle down. Work at it. If we pull it too hard, it would kind of rip right here in the center and we don't want that. So you just have to play with it just a little bit, very easy to get it to open up.
