How to Ride Powder on a Snowboard

KEVIN BYFORD: Hi. I'm Kevin Byford with the Ski and Snowboard Schools of Aspen on behalf of the Expert Village. Okay so riding powder. Some tips on riding powder. Key thing is to keep your body over the board. Don't lean too much you don't want too much edge. Secondly, make sure your knees are nicely flexed. And you're really going to use your back foot a lot more. I use my back foot as a brake. I press down on the tail so it goes deep into the snow and my nose comes out. As the nose comes out that's when I make my turn. That's riding powder. Let's give it a go.
