Hello, I'm Leroy Sisco, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'd like to give you a few tips and techniques on archery. I practice up to 80 yards. Most of the time I shoot 60 because then I have all the confidence in the world that I can shoot anything 15, 20, 25, 30 yards. So, you feel very comfortable, once you know you can hold a group about like that at 40, 50, 60 yards then you're able to shoot short ranges and do very well with it. In talking about an arrow, this is just one arrow that I use. I use several different ones. I've used different brands, this is just one particular one that I was shooting, but usually, and if you really want to know if you're getting a good quality arrow, usually the price tells you you're getting a good quality arrow. But you need to get one that fits you. As a matter of fact, these arrows I haven't shot in a while. I shoot several different brands and I've got a couple that I'm very pleased with and they're consistently accurate. Some arrows after you shoot them a while, they break down, and they don't shoot the same after a while. But if you get a good quality arrow, you can shoot them 10, 20, 30, 40 times, and they're going to shoot consistently every time, so that's what you want to look for. Just go to your local pro shop that actually handles archery equipment.
