Hi, I'm David Hunter with Expert Village. Today we're going to be talking about fireworks, the different types and safety tips. And now we're going to talk about spinners. Spinners come in various shapes and sizes and are really neat for your firework show. They usually run anywhere from around a dollar a pack all the way up sometimes to maybe 4 dollars depending on how many you get in a pack. This particular item here is from Brothers, it's called a helicopter. Now this item here we're going to find a smooth surface again, away from power lines, away from trees, and of course people. Don't forget your pets. One thing that we want to add when shooting fireworks, it's better to leave your pets chained up or inside when shooting fireworks. A lot of times they get excited, and sometimes they can get injured by the fireworks too. So keep those in mind when you're shooting your fireworks. Okay, we've checked the surface. Now this item will go up in the air. So we've laid it down, light the fuse, and get away. Now this is a perfect example of a firework not doing what it should. This item should of went up in the air and if I would of been too close to it, it could of gotten too close to me. Especially wearing open shoes or shorts, it could of burned me. So that is one of the good reasons why you should always read your warnings on how to shoot your fireworks. Always light the fuse and get away. Now we're going to try it again, we're going to show you this time hopefully how it really should work. Well 2 out of 3 is not bad. This item here is a typical example of maybe the concrete surface could of been a little bit too rough and not maybe smooth enough. So maybe we should of tried a board or something just a little bit smoother because the driveway surface we're using right now, it does have some small ridges, therefore it catches fins, and that is another reason why it is always good to back off from the fireworks when you're shooting.
