Hi, I'm David Hunter with Expert Village. Today we're going to be talking about fireworks, the different types and safety tips. Let's talk about Class C fireworks for kids. One of the most popular items that you will find and I found the most user friendly for the years that I've sold fireworks which are many many years, are the little snap and pops that you will find at all the firework stores. These fireworks still need to be used under close adult supervision. They consist of little pouches that you can tear open and you just simply, there's no lighting involved. You take these items and throw them at the ground. These items are a very safe product but again you must read the labels on the side. Never throw these because these can go off if you hit someone in the face or the eye and it could cause damage. Another good item you might want to choose which is good for kids too under close adult supervision also, are the little sling shot or bottle rockets. These items are a small rocket that you place into a concrete block or an iron pipe. When you shot these at a 75 degree angle, they go up and they make a small pop in the air and they're quiet pleasing to the crowd including your children. But again they must be used under close adult supervision and the kids will have fun with these. Of course remember with this item and any other item that you're shooting with fireworks, especially the items that go up in the air, safety goggles are a must. Now there's many different types of bottle rockets. Now the reason why we're explaining this one a little bit differently than most. This is a bottle rocket that is designed for a kid. It comes in the same package which is designed for children. Now these are a lot different than the other whistling bottle rockets that you might find that we talked about earlier. These have a lot less power than these rockets here. One way to tell what is safe for kids is always ask for safe and sane products. A safe and sane product is available in almost all states in the United States and you can get it because it has usually the consistency of snap and pops, smoke bombs, smoker fountains, and spinners and it's designed especially for kids. So ask for safe and sane when looking for your kid products.
