Questions & AnswersHey, this is Adam Silverstein on behalf of Expertvillage.com. In this clip I am going to show you guys at home how to turn on your rollerblades. Now we have already mastered balancing and pushing up on the skates so the next step is getting ourselves to turn the direction we want to go. Now there are a few things that you have got to do in order to do this. What we are going to first think about are foot positions. We are going to bring one foot out in front of the other that is going to lead and that is going to help us to turn. Next when you choose the direction you are going to go you are going to slowly turn your shoulders in that same direction and start to slowly turn your feet in that direction. Now it is difficult to do with the wheels so you got to remember it is a slow process. Now watch as we push off from the skating I have this foot in front of it. I am looking in the direction I want to go with my shoulders starting to turn there. I am bring my skates over in that direction and that turns me. Now watch again I am going to go the opposite direction and take a left turn, so I am pushing off this foot is in front of me, I turn my shoulders and my skates follow. Nice. You try now.
