More Parts of a Block Plane

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I'll be talking about more parts of the block plane. In the center of our block plane we have a lever cap screw. This is going to hold all of our components together when it's assembled. The base of our block plane is called the sole and large portion of our block plane is called the body. Towards the back of our block plane we have a lateral adjustment lever which will adjust the blade. In addition this wheel back here is our cutting depth adjustments that's going to allow us to take deeper or shallower cuts.
