JOEL SEIGEL: Alright. MAN: I'm sorry. JOEL SEIGEL: No, it's alright. MAN: Action. JOEL SEIGEL: Okay. So, all the principles are going to remain the same when we start to move our exercises to the kick drum and to the hi-hat and to our feet. So, instead of eight on a foot, let's do four on a foot. So, we're just going to play quarter notes with the kick drum, okay? And if you were watching some of the earlier clips, you'll notice that my heel is down. I'm playing the kick drum in the heel down position. So, these are quarter notes with the kick, heel down, I'm also not digging into the head, I'm letting the beater come off so there's a little more resonance. So, check it out. Alright? Pretty heavy. Alright, let's do it together. Same thing, I'll give you a count and we're going to do quarter notes. If you're having a hard time with the quarter notes, do like we did earlier. Do one and three. And when you're practicing on your own, if this tempo is too fast, slow it down. Always slow stuff down if you can't get it at first. There's no shame in learning something correctly. That's what you're going to want to shoot it for. So, let's do it together real quick. This is four on the floor. One, two, ready, play. Excellent. Let's do some more exercises.
