JOEL SIEGEL: Alright. So, now we're going to combine our kick drum and those strokes on the hi-hat with your right hand. So, just like with the left hand, there's going to be some interlocking of your limbs, basically. Your right hand and your right foot are going to end up playing beats one and beats three together, because, remember, you're playing one and two and three and four and one and two and three and four and. And the kick drum is just playing one, three, one, three, so you're going to have to get used to that feel of--just like when you're playing with two hands at the same time, playing with your foot and your hand at the same time.
