Setting Up a Drum Kit

JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So we've covered all those basic strokes and grips and such and the approaches to the kick and the hat. I want to just take a minute to encourage you to--of course, if you have a laptop, go ahead and try and set it up close to your kit to where you can watch. As I'm kinda going through stuff, you can play and move around, you can pause. And also, throughout this section today, I'll be--we'll be doing some different kind of play along stuff where I'll ask you to play along with me in the metronome. So whatever you're doing, these videos, whether they're my videos or someone else's on Expert Village, keep that in mind. Why not have your drums at the ready so you can learn and play along?
