Hi, I am Albert Headsmith with Expert Village. We are going to talk a little bit about Basic Trailer. Let?s talk a little bit about weight loads and how much a trailer is actually able to carry. It's really a good point to go and look at the tag that is actually on your trailer, to make sure that it can actually hold the weight that you are planning on putting on it. If you overload a trailer, not only can you bend the frame but it can be really unsafe pulling it down the road. The axles can break the springs are not meant to hold the weight up and it can really get you in a bad position or just ruin the trailer in general. So go ahead on your trailer and look for the tag as you can see on this one it has a seven thousand pound carrying limit and you know you really do not want to exceed that at all. You want to make sure that you are just loading the trailer to it's capacity. Another thing when you are thinking about weight is that you want to make sure that your vehicle is actually able to tow the load that the trailer is carrying. If you either overload the trailer or the car you are going to run into mechanical errors and you are going to ruin your equipment faster. As long as you go ahead and read the liable and make sure that your car or your vehicle is actually able to tow the trailer and the load that it is able to carry. Most of the time you will be all right.
