My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make the traditional French classic dish poule au pot, or chicken in a pot. Okay, I remember I told you I would show you how to make kind of a gravy out of this sauce. I'm just going to take a little bit here, right out of the pan. Now if you get, you know, some herbs in there, some onion, it's no big deal, it's all flavor. Let me take these tongs out. And the easy way to do that is, do this is just to take the pan and kind of give it a tilt. And I just use a spoon and just ladle it right into here. And all you're going to do, I'm not going to make a whole lot, is just get that in there, and get that to where it starts to get nice and hot, and all you're going to do is you're just going to add a little tiny bit of flour to it. You're going to sift the flour over it as you put it in to knock out the lumps, a little more than that. And what will happen here is you'll see the oil will start cooking the liquid out. And when that happens you'll know you're ready to go. I'm just going to grab like a little brush or like if you've got a mini wisk or something, just something to get the flour in there a little faster. Just whip it up against the sides here. You could also use a fork for this. And what's going to happen is the flour is going to thicken right into it, and I'll come back to you and show you in just a second to show you what the finished product is going to look like once it starts thickening. Now you can see it's taken on a difference appearance. It's a little thicker. You can actually let it boil for a second to kind of let it finish thickening up....
