My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make the traditional French classic dish poule au pot, or chicken in a pot. Okay, so now it's onion time. So what we're going to do is we're only going to use half of this onion. So, I'm going to lop the top off here. Set that in my trash bucket, and I'm just going to cut it in half just like that. I'm going to set half of it aside and I'm going to keep half. After I peel the half that I'm going to keep. This is a pretty banged up looking onion. You know what, I'm not keep that half.
