The Basic Essentials of Music Theory

Hey! I am Mark Black and I am here on expertvillage.com. I am here to talk to you about music theory and learning how to read music. Okay so that is your overview beginning music reading and reading music theory. I want to remind you that just like I said in the beginning that this is a road of learning the lines of music and at first it is very dry, I know this was dry but this can work out into the coolest, funkiest most awesome and heart moving music you have ever heard in your life because you understand what you doing. So we talked about pitch, the height and lowness on the staff, we talked about different shapes for a whole note, quarter notes, half notes, the rests that mean different lengths of time. We talked about how the scale is divided. We talked about chromatic scale, inharmonic notes, basically an overview of just the beginning. But just like learning the beginning alphabet in Spanish that’s were we are and so I encourage you to master this and go ahead and grow and again I am Mark Black and this is expertvillage.com and I am with Promethean studio and I will see you soon.
