Understand What Slow Rolling is in Poker

Let's look at another form of bad poker etiquette and it's also known as slow rolling and slow rolling refers to the hand is over and all the betting is done and we're just trying to declare the hands to see who is actually won the hand. So let's look at the board and see one instance of what slow rolling would be. The player in seat two says "aww I got the aces" and he flips over the ace and that's the only thing he flips over, he doesn't flip over his other card. Well the player in seat three, he flips over his both cards and says " ohh I got the ace, queen, I got you beat". Well the player in seat two knew all along that he had the better kicker with the king, but he chose just to show the ace and then the king. That's called slow rolling; you just show one card at a time. Another form of slow rolling would be, let's just say this was a different hand. Player in seat one, all the action is over. The player in seat one says "ohh I got trip sevens". I'm over here, I'm a player and I know I have him beat, there's a thousand dollars in the pot and I go "aww man I had two pair" and my two pair were eights and eights. That is very bad poker etiquette and it will get people mad at you at the table. When you show your hand, don't intentionally misdeclare. Show your hand, both cards at the same time, not one at a time. Both at the same time, declaring it correctly that I have four eights to beat your trip sevens. So don't slow roll your cards, play them like your suppose to.
