Hi, I'm voice over artist James Benedict on behalf of Expert Village. This video is about learning how to play the didgeridoo and I'd like to share a few secrets with you. So far we've discussed how to breathe into the didgeridoo, how to get it to make noise, and basic articulation using the "Ta" sound. This time we move on to "Taka? sounds. We literally say, "taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, Like, "I like-a to talk-a a lot." While we're buzzing into the didgeridoo. Let's try that without buzzing. Taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka. Enough of that, let's do it while we're buzzing. (demo) That's a little bit tough if you've never done it before so it takes lots of practice and you'll eventually wear your mouth out if you do it for a couple of days. It's worth it in the long run. Now let's try it with the didgeridoo, shall we? (audio demo) It doesn't seem like a lot right now, but we're laying down the basic foundations of something that'll sound really cool when we put all these sounds together.
