Double Lift High Hat Drum Exercises: Part 10

JOEL SIEGEL: All right. The last one we're going to do with the two high-hat lifts in a single bar is using the upbeats of one and the upbeat of four, okay? So, we have our hi-hat lift on the upbeat of one. What does that mean? We're coming down on two, okay? We have our upbeat of four hi-hat lifts which means we're coming down on one, okay? This is also analogous to another set that we did mechanically. Think about what that might be. This is what it sounds like. All right, let's do it together.
