JOEL SIEGEL: Okay. So, we're going to do another variation with our hi-hat lifts. We're going to move from--we just did upbeats of three and four. We're going to do the upbeats of two and three now, okay? This is a similar principle because we have both of our lifts; they're going to be mechanically different from each other. Upbeat of two, we're going to have the hi-hat open which means it'll be closed when-- be closed on three. Okay? What else is playing on three? You have your right foot and your right hand. Okay? So, think about those three things striking together. All right, the upbeat of three, we're going to have, again, our hi-hat open and what does that mean? Where is it going to close? Well, it's going to close on beat four. What else is playing on four? You have your right hand and your left hand, okay? Playing that backbeat and those 8th notes. Okay? This is what it sounds like. All right? Got an idea of where we're going with this? Let's play it together.
