Combine both Parts of the Mama's Jambalaya Drum Exercise

JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So we'll go ahead and piece the two together now. We're still on Mama's Jambalaya, the 8-7-6. So we're going to start at 8, work our way down to 1, and build back up to 8. You might ask--you might be asking or thinking to yourself, "Are we going to do the 1's twice?" or "How does that work?" You're just going to go--starting on the descending, you're going to go 2-2-1-1-2-2. So you're just playing the 1's once, all right? So here's what it sounds like. All right? Pretty long, but again, a very good exercise just to develop your mental focus and to really get that control and even those transitions out between your hands.
