Half Steps in Music Theory

Hey! I am Mark Black and I am here on expertvillage.com. I am here to talk to you about music theory and learning how to read music. Alright, there are two intervals that I am going to talk about right now and one is the half step and this word half step and the half step is the smallest interval in Western Music that is what I want you to know about it and if you play every single note on a piano, every single note on the guitar, every single note on a tuba you are moving by a half step and that is the distinctive of Western Music and let me let you hear the sound. Every single one of those notes was the half step apart, somebody made the piano to do that, now.
