Benefits of Loose vs. Tight Shirts for Ties

Hi I am Douglas Willott on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to talk about how to coordinate the shirt with the tie. As I said earlier I like the idea of using the tie rather than just wearing the tie. For instance a lot of guys know the trick where we unbutton the top button of our shirt and then tie the tie really tight and that way you have it looser around your neck and you can breathe easier. But likewise you can use the tightness or the looseness of the tie around your neck to kind of portray a different attitude. If you want to be very very very conservative with your tie, pull it tight and sit upright and if you are going to be wearing a nontraditional jacket this could provide a nice contrast because you are wearing something that would be considered modern and nontraditional with the most traditional form of wearing your tie. Likewise let's say you want to have a little bit of a devilish rogue with it loosen the tie a little bit, undo the top button, let it out a little bit pop the color some and just kind of be that guy sitting there with the jacket on the back of the chair looking like you are not too worried about keeping it all professional for the evening and it gives you a really fun attitude.
