Testing an Edge Sanders

Hi, this is Jon behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we will be testing the sander. Once everything is set up on our sander, we are ready to test it out and make sure that it is working properly. The first thing you will want to do is turn it on just for about 2 seconds and then back off. Now if there is a major problem, you will have turned it off fast enough to cause the least amount of damage and then you can go ahead and fix that problems. Since ours worked properly, we are okay to move forward. Next you can get a piece of stock and go ahead and test out the sander and as long as there is no unusual noises or vibrations, everything should be working properly.
