Installing Belts for Edge Sanders

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about belt installation. This particular tool uses a 6 inch by 80 inch belt which is a very large belt compared to most sanders. First we need to loosen the belt tracking lock knob. Next we need to open the lid of the dust port and move the quick release lever to its locked open position. Next we need to locate the arrows indicating the direction of location on the back of our sanding belt and then we are going to slide the belt over the rollers, move the quick release lever back to its tension position and now we are ready for tracking the belt.
