Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about tool use and care. When sanding a piece of stock, you want to make sure and hold on to the piece of stock real tight or use some other method of securing or guiding the stock because if you let go, it is going to shoot off. Now before you do make any adjustments or do any maintenance on the sander, you want to make sure and turn the circuit breaker off or if yours plugs in, unplug it. And before you get started you will want to give your sander a good visual inspection as well as test all of the components of the sander, any guards you might have. Make sure that everything looks and feels and is working properly before you use the sander.
