Electrical Safety for Edge Sanders

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about electrical safety. This particular sanding machine is 220 volts meaning it requires a lot more voltage than your typical outlet that you would have in your house. This machine is also hard wired in meaning that there is no plug that you can just pull to stop the machine. Now we have had an electrician come in and hook up this machine and set it up to make sure that it is working properly and that it is safe. There are two ways to shut off the machine. The first one is by flipping the safety switch to off and the second one is to flip the circuit breaker which we do also have labeled.
