Applying Lip Gloss

HARMONIE KRIEGER: So out of everything that you put on, makeup-wise, lip gloss is probably the most important thing that you carry with you. So no matter what the color is, just make sure that the gloss that you put on earlier is the gloss you use throughout the day and the night because once you start mixing colors, your lips are going to be all mangled in different in colors and we don't want that. So you're going to take a little bit and you're kinda just going to blot it on your lips like so and then rub it in with the top lip, and just make sure you put in on about maybe three to four times throughout the day because gloss comes off really fast and you always want to have that shiny, succulent look. Lipstick alone, obviously, will--your lips will look dry when the gloss comes off. So the secret is, put the gloss on and then after, rub a little bit of that Aquaphor on top of it that we talked about, because the Aquaphor will make it last a good hour longer than if you were just to put regular lip gloss on. So whatever lip gloss you pick, go with something that's a little bit shimmery but not too shimmery where your lips stand out. So make sure that it matches your facial colors and your dress.
