Keeping a Lasting Smile on the Red Carpet

HARMONIE KRIEGER: Aquaphor is probably the best kept secret. Now, in the olden days when people would want to keep their smile for long periods of time and when you use Vaseline to keep their really--like their lips open. But Aquaphor is the best product on the market. Now, it's kind of like Vaseline. It's for cracked and dry lips but you can put it anywhere. Now, I use Aquaphor about four times a day on my lips because it just--it's not like ChapStick. If you use ChapStick or Blistex, your lips feel chapped five minutes later; this will last you at least two hours. So what I would do is squeeze a little bit, and here is the secret to always smiling down the red carpet. You're going to rub it on your hands like so and you're going to put it on the teeth, to tops and bottoms. And it actually gives it this really nice, like, protective covering, and then just rub a little bit on your lips. This way, when you smile, your mouth will not be dry, and as you're talking to 10, 20, 30 people, your lips will feel just as they did if you were talking to the first person that you met.
