Jewelry for Red Carpet Fashion

HARMONIE KRIEGER: So, now, we're onto jewelry. Diamonds, of course, are a girl's best friend and we want everyone to see them. So, along with the clip, we had a beautiful vintage necklace. Now, the great thing about this is she has the strapless top, so the attention is drawn up. So we want this gorgeous pendant to be the focus when she's walking down the red carpet, and it's a very old piece; it's from the 1920's. So, you want to find something that fits your personality. Not every woman loves big diamonds. It might be a pendant. It might be something that's antique. I love this because it is glass quartz and it's from the '20s, and it's so rare. And then, we have these chandelier earrings that she picked to match the necklace. They're just gorgeous and they just match the barrette as well, and she looks beautiful. And what I love about this as well is she's wearing a black dress and the diamonds just add that extra flair that she needs. And then, we got to show your ring, 'cause, of course, the ring is also a vintage piece and it's also very old. So it goes with the necklace. So, picking vintage pieces are great. You don't have to pick a set of jewelry that matches. You can pick pieces from all over as long as they somewhat go together. I love jewelry that doesn't match. I don't like sets that are similar. So, go out and find something that fits your personality, that fits the dress, that fits the hair, and have everything be aligned. And when you walk down that red carpet, everyone is staring at you.
