How to Remove a Jack Stand

Hi my name is Nate McCullough on behalf of Expert Village. In these clips we're going to talk about the proper way to inspect, remove, replace, and maintenance your vehicles shock absorbers. In this clip we're going to talk about the proper way to re-jack our vehicle up and remove our jack stand. What I'm going to do is go to the front of the vehicle and place my floor jack in the same location. I'm going to go ahead and jack the vehicle up. Ok once we have the vehicle jacked up off of our jacks and you can see it's loose, you can go ahead and release the safety lever and slide my jack stand out of the way. From there I'm going to proceed to the front of the vehicle and let the vehicle down. And that is the proper way to remove your vehicles jack stand.
