Hi. My name is Nate McCullough, on behalf of Expert Village. In these clips, we're going to talk about the proper way to inspect, remove, replace, and maintenance your vehicle's shock absorbers. In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper way to finish removing the vehicle's lug nuts, breaking our tire loose, and getting it out of the way so we can gain access to our vehicle's shock absorber. As you can see, we have our wheel off the ground. It is free-spinning. We already broke loose our lug nuts. What I'm going to do is take my four-way and the three-quarter inch side of it, which is most common. If this one doesn't fit, you're going to want to go to the 13/16 side. That will cover 95 percent of the vehicles out there. The reason why I use a four-way is most people, myself included, don't have an air compressor and impact guns to remove tires. So I use a four-way, so I can actually get it to spin. I get a little mechanical assist out of it instead of having to ratchet it off every time. Use my four-way and spin this one off, too. When you're removing your lug nuts, there's no particular order you need to go in. Just spin them off and put them in your magnetic tray or in your pocket so you don't lose them or kick them around during your shock absorber service. We got all our lug nuts off. If you haven't had your wheel off in a decent amount of time, it may be seized. If it is, you're going to want to grab a hold of it. Well mine isn't. I'll just demonstrate for you. You just want to grab a hold of it and give a very stiff pop to one side, just like so. That's generally enough to get your wheels off. We'll slide it off the studs and roll it back out of the way. That is the proper way to remove your vehicle's lug nuts and your wheel and tire assembly.
