How to Calculate Cubic Inches

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we'll be calculating cubic inches. If for some reason you need to convert cubic feet into cubic inches there are 1,728 cubic inches in a cubic foot. So we're going to take our cubic footage and multiple that by 1,728 and that's going to give us a total of 200,448 cubic inches. For some reason you need to convert cubic yards into cubic inches you need to take your cubic yardage multiple that by 46,656 and that's going to give you your cubic inches. Now most applications will either ask for cubic yards or cubic feet but it's always good to know those conversions factors just in case you need them.
