On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to cut curly hair. I went ahead and chose another section of her hair. I'm going to show you that if I pull it up, you see you're going to have some hair in there that you think you have to cut, but we're not going that way. You have to continue to go a little forward if you want to keep the length and you want to keep long layers. She'll become flush of it right now. There's not much to cut now. That means she has long layers. She's layered up to this point. This is one length. I'm not going to cut into this as much. I'm doing layers, but it's long layers, so I don't have to go that way. Notice that if you go to an angle here, you're going to notice that she's almost even. It's flushed. There's not much to cut. I'm going to show you something else that's very important. Just make sure that she's also flushed on this point. She's got a couple of hairs that are long. Trim. Keep it like that. In order to make sure that you're right, take the next layer. If you think maybe this needs to be trimmed, it has a little bit more, push it towards that piece.
