Checking if Curly Hair Angles are Right

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to cut curly hair. I went ahead and after I did those 3 sections here, I also went down to the back and I looked at where the hair was. You want to go ahead and make sure you see that. Sometimes you have one or two little hairs on the bottom that are lose that just don't look right. They just drop from the back of the head. I can see one right here. It's a little off right here in an angle. You just bring it back and look at the side of it, making sure she's evened up, making sure she's nice and neat. Now we're going to proceed to go on the other side of her hair. I'm going to turn her this way. Usually, you cut towards the mirror. You can move the customer any way you want. I'm going to go ahead and go this way in this section for the camera. Let me go ahead and tell you again that I'm sectioning like that. Same side. I'm going to go ahead, take my pin, and pin her hair. Take it back here to this side, move her head. If she even shifts her head, you'll notice that can even change the whole haircut.
