JOEL SIEGEL: Okay. So we're going to do one more with just this kind of two-note variation with that downbeat on one. We're going to go ahead and put that eighth note on the upbeat of four. You're maybe thinking to yourself that we've already done this or at least something similar, and that's true. We did one and three, and then also the upbeat of four, all right? So we had boom, boom, boom-boom. And now what we're doing is just leaving out that three, okay? I promise there's a reason for this, okay? So this is what it sounds like, just without the hi-hat. Okay? So in this next clip, we'll throw back in the hi-hat and we'll be thinking about where things are lining up and interacting.
