Fencing Defense Using Beat TouchI'm Sharol Pestotnik with Colorado Fencing Academy. On behalf of Expert Village, we're going to be discussing Sabre Fencing defense. Another defensive move for Sabre Fencing is called the Prise de Fer, which is a Beat Touch. As your opponent comes in, they will be trying to finish their attack and get the touch on you. It'll be very important for you to back up, wait for a moment, beat their blade, or Prise de Fer. You take initiative from them at this point, you've displaced their blade.
