Hello! My name is Jason and I am talking on behalf of expertvillage.com. Now after I cleaned the engine and underneath the hood, you want to go to the battery cables because you know, sometimes when we do use degreaser on the engine. It does not remove all the dirt particles and acid and the build up on the cable. These are from long years of build up. It is basically acid build up; is tough. So, how do you get rid of that? You know something with amino acid, a type of acid you find in the coke, or Sprite or Dr. Pepper or something like that. What I do, this is how it works, and you know, I use the degreaser before, it did not work. I just simply get a can of Coca Cola and I poured on the battery cables. What that does, it breaks down all that build up acid, which has been building throughout the years. It breaks it down, it gets between the battery cables, it cleans it, not only will you have a better connection and you also have better electronics. What I mean by that, your headlights get stronger, inside your dashboard lights get stronger because when you have a better connection simply your car just runs better. And that is what you want to do to a battery cable, pour some coke on it and just simply spray it off the rack and some water.
