How to Cut a Transparency for a Kaleidoscope Lens

Ben Gonyo here for Expert Village, we are putting together a kaleidoscope. Now we are going to make our lenses cap, the end lenses cap part for our kaleidoscope. This is where the transparency comes into play. Now these are also very cheap and easy to find and that's why we are using this method instead of the perti dish. So you take your little piece that you cut off of the end there for your the end of your tube and you are just going to take a marker, put it on the transparency and go around the outside, make a little tracing. Okay, you are going to do that two times. Then take your scissors and that is pretty self explanatory, you just cut it out and you don’t have to be super precise here because you can trim it up with the Exacto blade after you get it connected to the tube which we are going to do in the next section.
