Understand the Importance of Learning for Children

My name is Dr. Randall Hyde. On behalf of Expert Village I want to talk to you about learning. What's important is who do you learn from? We can learn from people who know nothing, who have an opinion or we can learn from the world's greatest authorities. Where do we find information from the world's greatest authorities? From the library. From bookstores. There are men and women who are dedicated their lives to certain subjects that they are more than happy to share with you. Sit down with a good book and learn what they know. As you know, as you think like they think, you will have the same expertise and skill. Another thing that you can teach your children, other than going to books is take them to the mall. Watch others and learn how they interact with others. Adopt what you like, be curious. My mother gave me 3 books that meant the world to me. She gave me a lot of books. There are 3 that meant the world to me; one was a dictionary from her mother. Another was How to Win Friends and Influence People. It taught me a lot about people and how to be a good person and interacting with others. The third was James Allen's book, As A Man Thinker. That just changed my life, being the most positive, optimistic person I can be. That our thoughts developed our lives. Be the same kind of parent with your children, share with them important books and learning from authorities.
