Soft Hitting Strategies for Blackjack

I am Joe Marshall with Expert Village.com and today we are going to learn how to win at Blackjack. Okay we are now going to go over some hitting strategies to follow when you want to hit soft totals. The first basement here has a soft total of 14 or a 4 because the ace can represent 11 or 1 and on the chart anything that is an Ace two through ace six soft totals, you’re always going to want to hit them because you can’t bust on them. So, he will want to take a hit and actually he has turned out to have a 21 so he is going to want to stay and not take any more cards, that is a great hand. And then here in the middle if the dealer has a card that’s a 9, 10 or an ace against the soft 18, he is going to want to hit that because he still going to lose with a soft 18, but he can also improve his chances of getting a 21 by hitting because he is not in any jeopardy of busting. If the player has a soft 19 or a soft 20 where the ace can represent a 11 plus 8 which is 19 or 11 plus 9 which is 20, he is going to want to stand and never take a hit, no matter what the dealer’s up card is because those are great hands and he should not mess with them anyways. He is more likely to win just by leaving them alone.
